Hi Alexandra

Thank you for your question.

When people are in this situation the first step is to realize that this is what is happening. Stuart Wilde said something years ago that provides a way forward in this situation. It went something like this, "if you really don't know what you want because you are really confused and stressed out and listening to yourself is virtually impossible, then start by getting rid of all the things you know you don't want, this will give you some clarity and then you can use that to get clearer."

Finding the truth is a never ending process that enables us to dispel illusion layer upon layer, each discovery bringing more joy than the last. Our adventure is about finding our connectedness and commonality with everything else, but as individuals we will need to do that in our own peculiar way. Ironically, listening to advice from others too much will drown out our own truth when it is these others that ultimately we desire connection with.

“Whatever illusion you took on when you pretended you were separate from all of creation becomes your purpose to dissolve.” - Peter Hagerty

Hope this is of some assistance.

Gratitude, Love, Certainty and Presence

Brilliant. You have given me some good food for thought in that post.

But, what if you have been lying to yourself for so long that you have lost sight of your true motivations in life. What if your just down right lost and confused? What can one do to wade through the shit and find your reality? How do you find the truth?
